Mike Norcross

Mike Norcross, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 13, 2026, in his beloved hometown of Bryan, Texas. Born on March 18, 1963, Mike exemplified the spirit of kindness and generosity throughout his life. He started his journey in apartment maintenance under the watchful mentorship of his father, a testament to the values instilled in him from an early age. His dedication to his craft made him an expert in the field, earning him respect and admiration from those who knew him.

Mike’s personality was as quiet as it was mighty; he was known as the most patient man on earth. His family was his world, and there was nothing he cherished more than spending quality time with them. He was an amazing husband to his wife, Melissa, and a doting father to his son, Caleb. Mike's proudest accomplishments revolved around these cherished relationships, having shared nearly 40 wonderful years of marriage with Melissa and witnessing the joys of fatherhood through Caleb.

Many will fondly remember Mike for his willingness to help family and friends at every opportunity. He had a remarkable ability to make time for those he loved, particularly his son. Countless hours were spent together playing video games like GTA and Forza Motorsports, and enjoying the thrill of NASCAR races. These simple moments were filled with laughter, lessons, and love, solidifying a bond between father and son that will never be forgotten.

Mike leaves behind his wife, Melissa Norcross; his son, Caleb Norcross; his brother, Bill Norcross and his wife Liz; his sister-in-law, DeDe Juel and her husband Martin; brother-in-law Mitch Williams; brother-in-law Mike Williams; and his adored nieces and nephew—Madison Williams, Payton Williams, Jordan Juel, and Jackson Juel. Each of them carries pieces of his tremendous heart, which will continue to beat strongly through their memories of him.

He joins in eternal rest his parents, Will and Mary Ann Norcross; his mother-in-law, Lynn Seale; his step father-in-law Bobby Seale; his father-in-law, Norman Williams; and his uncle, Ray Norcross, who undoubtedly welcome him with open arms.

A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan, Texas, on January 22, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM.

Mike Norcross will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, patience, and dedication to family will forever remain in our hearts.
