Nadine Lois Earhart

August 12, 1935 — July 16, 2025

Bryan, Texas

Dear Family,

If you are reading this, it means I am no longer here to tell you all what to do or how to do it! 😘

I decided long ago to write this myself since no one knows me better than I know myself! Besides, it will save you the trouble of having to think up nice things to say about me after the fact. ❤️

A quick couple of things you might not know about me:

#1) I love me a cold Dr Pepper! #2) I love buying & wearing jewelry… my girl’s say I’m “addicted, oh but what great vices they are!” ❤️

I was born August 12, 1935 to Erna Elizabeth Schwartinsky Stade and Benjamin Robert Stade.

I grew up on a farm surrounded by an extensive loving German Family in the area of Lorena, Texas. My parents believed in hard work, great faith in our creator and extended family ties. I truly believe that is what helped determine the woman I eventually became. ❤️

Another little something you might not know about me:

#3) I love chocolate almost as much as I love God!❤️

On April 15, 1955, I married the great love of my life, Laurence Howard Earhart. Yes, I’m aware that is Tax Day, but I never realized in my wildest dreams that living with him would be THAT taxing! He was a handsome devil (AND HE KNEW IT)... oh how he could cut a rug like no other!

Sadly, Jesus called him home way too soon. It has been a long 25 years without him and I have loved and missed him every single day!

I know without a doubt what a great reunion it will be when I finally see him again. We can dance once more to our favorite Glenn Miller tune, Moonlight Serenade… OH WAIT! Dadgummit… If you are reading this, it must mean I’m already tripping the Light Fantastic! Hallelujah!!! GOD IS SO GOOD!

I have lived my life the way I was taught as a child and instilled the same values in my own children.

These things brought me great joy… I always wanted to be a writer, but I never pursued that passion, except in the quiet confines of my room after losing Laurence.

I always took great pride in my lawn and gardens. Tending them always gave me great joy. I especially liked having my girls pulling weeds for me! 🤣

Laurence and I even managed to raise and enjoy an aviary with exotic birds in our garden.

My ceramics and home redecorating have always been a passion.

So easy to say the best part of my life is my family! Our four daughters lovingly provided us with nine grandchildren.

When they came along, sadly I wasn’t able to spend as much time with them as I might have liked, but I want them to know how much I love each and every one of them dearly. They are all so very special to me each in their own way and I am so proud of the adults they are now!

My grands also blessed me with the most glittering gifts of all, that being my great grandchildren. They have been the brightest stars in my eyes in the sunset of my years.

Yes, my dear family and friends, I have lived a full and happy life. Each and every one of you have played a very special part in my happiness. Never forget how much I truly love you!

Before I go, I wanted to tell you just two more things:

Did I mention that I love me a cold Dr. Pepper? 😊❤️

I leave you with this… I shall grow old, but never lose life’s zest because the road’s last turn will be the best!

I was preceded in death my husband Laurence Earhart, my parents Erna and Benjamin Stade, my beloved in-laws Veda and Howard Earhart, my great grandchildren Bella Jae Contreras, Chelsi Lyn Taska and many other beloved extended family members.

I am survived by my cherished cat Patches (my girls always said I loved that cat more than I loved them!), my four daughters Patricia Earhart Tippitt and husband Michael, Karren Earhart Landers and husband Jerry, Tammy Earhart Deska and husband Keith and Kym Earhart Williams and husband James.

My Grandchildren: Jason and Pamela Williams, Leslie and Joe Contreras, Ross and April Williams, Matt and Jin Tippitt, Chris and Kellye Tippitt, Laury and Lee Arnold, Leah and Joey Taska, Hunter Landers and Aliah Benavides, Michael and Suelynn White, Matthew and Amy White, Kellie Deska Kragt and John Kragt, Troy Deska, Kat and Brandon Self.

My Great Grandchildren: Lydia Williams, Kyla Williams, Ava Contreras, Dominick Williams, Max Williams, Luke Williams, Lily Tippitt, Wyatt Tippitt, Connor Tippitt, Kennedy Tippitt, Emily Kasowski, Garet Kasowski, McKenzie Arnold, Alice Arnold, Charli Taska, Corbin Taska, Elliot Landers, Austin Kragt, Lincoln Kragt, Landry Kragt and Rose Faucett.

My Sisters and Brother-in-Laws: Nelma Louise Mooney, Judy Firquin (Sam) and John Earhart as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

WHEW… Well Laurence, our quiver is full, our legacy is in full swing and left in good hands. To all those left behind… we expect to see you way up high! Don’t miss the flight!!! ❤️
