Nancy Janosky Schnell of Webster, TX left this world on September 25, 2025. Nancy was born on August 27, 1974, in Houston, TX at St. Luke’s Hospital to a yond mother who was ill-equipped to care for her. Through God’s grace, the homes of St. Mark’s adoption agency placed Nancy into the loving arms of her parents, Edward and Joan Janosky, when she was only three days old.
Nancy was fearless in every aspect of her life. From owning her own Landscaping business at the age of 29, to taking on insurance companies after losing all to Hurricane Ike, to being on City Council in Shoreacres and ruffling feathers. She never quit. She graduated from Bryan High School in 1992.
Nancy was a scholar throughout her life; there was nothing she loved more than learning. At the age of 36, Nancy returned to college and graduated with honors and distinction with a degree in funeral services.
Nancy’s lighter-side was full of love for Harley Davidson riding and watching her beloved Longhorns play football. Being a jack of all trades, and a master of some (not, note), she also was an excellent cook, baker and gardener. Nancy recently acquired the aptitude to work on her Burnt Orange 1979 CJ5 Jeep.
Nancy is survived by her loving mother, Joan Nowak Janosky; her brother, Alan Janosky of Michigan; niece, Charlie Joan of Michigan; her 2 cherished sons, Harrison Bowe of Houston, TX and Chance Farnsworth of San Antonio, TX. Her sister, Brooke Fatigante Beltrum, her three nieces, Madison, Alexis and Paydon; uncle, Jim Nowak of Snook, TX; her three cousins, James Nowak, Jason Nowak and Elizabeth Watson along with her husband Steve and their families; as well as a few friends and neighbors.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Restever Memorial Park in Bryan, TX.
