Ricardo Martinez

Ricardo Martinez, 58, of Bryan, TX passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025 in his home in Bryan surrounded by his loved ones.

Ricardo was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to Juventino & Augustina Martinez on June 28, 1966. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friends and a faithful servant of God.

He worked at Chemical Weed Control for 5 years as a welder and assistant mechanic and was known for his great welding trait and strong work ethic with a good attitude.

In his early years he enjoyed dancing, fishing and playing in a band. In his later years he enjoyed welding, vacationing with wife and children, fishing with his dad, sons and nephews, attending his church and running the sound in his church. He attended Iglesia Casa del Alfarero and Templo Sulamita before that.

Ricardo is survived by his wife Christina Martinez, his 7 children: Ricardo Martinez Jr. and wife Vicky, Juventino Martinez, Araceli Martinez, Elaine Garcia and Ben Garcia, Alex Martinez and wife Martha, Annabel Martinez, Christian Martinez and wife Reyna. He has 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by one sister, Yolanda Muñoz and predeceased by his father Juventino Martinez Sr., mother Augustina Martinez, sister Maria Vasquez and Jessica Martinez and brother Juventino Martines Jr.
