It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Richard A. Miller "Rick" of Bryan, Texas, who passed away after a short illness on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 81.
Rick was born on June 23, 1944 in Ohio. He graduated from Cambridge High School in Cambridge Ohio.
Rick served in the U.S. Army worked for Presto Chemical, owned his own business, worked for Ohio Power and the Water Company before moving to Texas. He was active in The Cambridge City Band, The Cambridge Singers, did community theater and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
After Rick moved to Texas, he worked for several dealerships and retired from Walmart after 20 years.
He loved gardening, fishing, wildlife, and raising his chickens and guineas. Rick was loved by all, never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Rick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marcia Miller. Two daughters, Christine Bush (husband Bob) and Tracey Pinkleman (husband Carl) two sons, Michael "Eric" Gutowski (wife Amy) and Brian Gutowski and Seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Brothers Dave Miller(wife Marilyn) and George Miller (wife Kay).
Rick is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lela Miller, Brothers Charles and Shelby, and sister Sue.
