College Station

Bobby Cain was born on January 19, 1958, in Bryan, Texas. He was a beloved family man who raised his family in Georgetown, Texas where he was an esteemed member of the community for 40 years. His journey through life came to a close on January 8, 2026, in College Station, Texas, just days shy of his 68th birthday. Bobby leaves behind a legacy filled with love, positivity, and unwavering service to others.

Family was at the heart of Bobby's joyful existence. He cherished the moments spent with his wife, Anne, of 45 years, and took immense pride in his two sons, Trent (and wife Emilie) and Adam (and wife Lydia). Bobby was delighted to witness his sons and their families nurture the next generation in strong Christian faith, and he adored his grandchildren Kyleigh, Peyton, Jackson, and Nolan.

Bobby was raised in Lubbock and graduated from Coronado High School. He was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of '80, as well as a member of Gator 2 in the Aggie Corps of Cadets. Bobby was a loyal and supportive Aggie who had a passion for attending Aggie sporting events. For 17 years, he served as an official with the A&M track team, ensuring that meets ran smoothly and that athletes were where they needed to be. His dedication was not only to sports but to the spirit and camaraderie they fostered.

Bobby's professional life was nothing short of impressive. His work in the automotive industry began in retail sales then management at various dealerships before transitioning to selling finance products to car dealers across Texas and in Georgia. His career saw him thrive with notable companies like Service Group, Dealer Associates, and most recently, Brown & Brown. Those fortunate enough to work with him will forever remember his dedication and impact. Bobby's current boss expressed that having a teammate like him was a rarity, noting the significant respect he garnered for sharing his knowledge and caring deeply for his clients. Previous colleagues recognized him as a cornerstone to their success and a true mentor who made a profound impact on their lives, frequently being described as an "outright good human being."

Bobby was known for his radiant spirit; he always wore a smile and remained positive, embodying a life dedicated to serving others. Friends and family will carry treasured memories of joyful times shared, particularly at Aggie sporting events. He was not just a leader in his professional life but a guiding light in every role he played.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Bob Cain, and his paternal and maternal grandparents, Luther and Anna Cain, and Haskell and Thelma Easterling. He is survived by his mother, Rubyetta Cain; his sister, Renee Spratlen, and her husband Kevin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation and memorial service will be held for Bobby on January 13, 2026, at Christ Church in College Station, Texas, where family and friends can gather to celebrate his remarkable life. His family would be delighted for those attending to wear Aggie colors or your favorite color to celebrate the joyful life Bobby lived.

The family is very grateful for the compassionate care Bobby received from his many local doctors, nurses, and medical professionals as well as the hospice team.

Though Bobby has left this world, his legacy of love, mentorship, and positivity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those he touched.
