Rosemary Sharp Fugate, age 79, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary was born on August 31, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Robert Sharp and Margarite “Mimi” Potts. She lived a life marked by dedication, service, creativity, and deep love for her family. In her younger years, Rosemary proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps for two years, reflecting her strength, discipline, and commitment. During that time and beyond, she enjoyed skeet shooting, a pastime that highlighted her focus, skill, and independent spirit. Following her military service, she devoted her life to her family as a loving and dedicated homemaker. Rosemary was an exceptional cook who found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. She also loved to read and had a deep appreciation for creativity. She especially enjoyed making Christmas stockings, cross-stitching, sewing drapes, and spending time on arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Grover Lee Fugate (Jack) of College Station, Texas; her son, James Gregory (Becky) Stehling of Bryan, Texas; her daughter, Kimberly Kamai (Quinn) Williams of College Station, Texas; and her stepson, Jack Fugate of Gainesville, Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Rosemary will be remembered for her quiet strength, generous heart, and devotion to family.
