Rupert Green II

Ronald Rupert Green II, affectionately known as Rupert, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 59 in Bryan, Texas. Born on October 5, 1965, in Pasadena, Texas, Rupert was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him.

A visitation in honor of Rupert will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home, located at 3001 S. College Avenue, Bryan, TX. Following the visitation, family and friends will gather for a graveside service at Evergreen Church Cemetery in Iola, TX, scheduled for the same day at 1:00 PM.

Rupert was a jack of all trades and ultimately found his calling as a truck driver. His adventurous spirit and joy for life were infectious. A proud founding member of the Blue Bonnet Street Rodders Club, Rupert dedicated himself to fostering friendships and creating lasting memories. His son, Dalton, fondly remembers him as a fun-loving father who embraced life with enthusiasm. “The type of person my dad was can be summed up in my favorite childhood memory. My dad used to get together with his buddies on Aggie Bonfire night and have a little fun. They would sit at the top of the driveway and launch water balloons at the people walking by. Till the day he died, he never grew up. My dad knew how to have a good time,” Dalton recalled.

Rupert is predeceased by his father, Ronald Rupert Green Sr. He is survived by his mother, Pamela McMillen; his sons, Dalton Green and his wife Heather, and Druck Green; his beloved granddaughter, River Jo Green; and a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who will miss him dearly.

As we reflect on the life of Ronald Rupert Green II, we celebrate not only the memories he leaves behind but also the love and joy he radiated during his time with us. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
