Stephanie Sauceda

November 29, 1976 — October 15, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Stephanie Ann Sauceda, who departed this life on Wednesday October 15th at the age of 48 at the family home in Arizona. She was a cherished daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She loved her Dachshund “Schnitzel” and her most recent rescue a Chihuahua named “Cheech”. She was a collector of unique items. Stephanie’s laughter and uniqueness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Stephanie was born on November 29, 1976 in the USAF Hospital Wiesbaden Germany. As a child of a military family, she grew up in many locations. She attended elementary school in College Station, Texas while her dad studied at Texas A&M University. She attended middle school in Incirlik Air Base, Turkey at the Department of Defense Dependent School. Stephanie began in the fall of 1991 at Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington and graduated in June 1995. She started college at the United States International University, San Diego CA, where she played soccer. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 1998. Stephanie later attended Academy of Art University, San Francisco with a lot of long hours and hard work she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion May 19, 2007.

Throughout her life, she dedicated herself, leaving a legacy of hard work, integrity, and compassion.

Stephanie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She gave her time, talents, and love to her family. Her generosity and willingness to help others will be long remembered and deeply missed.

Stephanie is survived by her parents Ignacio & Gloria (Soliz) Sauceda, and her brother Ross Sauceda. Aunts; Aurelia (Sauceda) Jimenez, Angie (Sauceda) Toliver (James), Cathy (Soliz) Carpio, Joyce Soliz Uncles; Victor Soliz (Mary) and David Sauceda (Rose). Along with lots of cousins and extended family members. Her lifetime friends Yolanda Johnson (WA), Kari Naipo (WA), and many friends throughout the United States.

Funeral services are tentative at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home, Bryan TX.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stephanie’s remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to AZ Chihuahua Rescue at azchihuahuarescue.org, or Genesis Project at genesisprojectaz.org in her memory.

Stephanie will forever be remembered for her warmth, wit, and unwavering love.
