Virginia Espino

Born and raised in Bryan, TX passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by Prayer and loved ones on August 10th of 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Sr. and Manuela Munoz Cortez, brothers Henry Jr., David Cortez, Johnny Cortez, infant sister Rebecca and Granddaughter Cheyenne Elizabeth Vinton.

Survivors include: Partner Jessie Jesus Martinez. Her children Patricia Salazar, Steve Salazar and wife Annabelle, Stephanie Espino White and Thomas Mata, Paula Espino and Manuel Monreal. Siblings, Alice Mendez and husband Manuel, Richard and wife Maria, Yvonne Ramirez, Sylvia Coburn and husband Cliff, Vera Cortez, Angela Hudak and husband Bill, and sister-in-laws Deolanda Cortez and Mary Cortez. As well as numerous Grandsons, Granddaughters, great grandchildren, great-great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Virginia was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and a retiree from the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed cookouts with her family, dancing to her favorite Cojunto music and watching Wheel of Fortune.
