Wayne Atchley

Wayne Atchley, 72, of Hearne, Tx passed away on July 31, 2025. Wayne was born in Paris, Tx in 1952 to Willis Atchley & Goldia Atchley. 

Wayne graduated Idalou High School in 1971 and joined the Navy. He then went on to fight in the Vietnam War. After returning home Wayne went to work for Oberkampf Supply in August of 1978. He continued working for Oberkampf supply for 43 years . Wayne retired in April of 2021 moving to College Station to enjoy living on the ranch and enjoying his retirement. 

Wayne was preceded in death by Willis Atchley (father) and Goldia House (mother). He is survived by his loving wife Theresa of 44 years; two sons, Mark and Josh (Lyndi); grandchildren, Austin (Ashlee), Ashton, Anzleigh, Abbey, Ceattle, Bristol, Kayleigh, and Bentley; great grandchildren, Parker and Rhett; brother, Randy Atchley; nephew, Eric, and nieces, Courtney and Kristyn. Memorial service will be held at the ranch in Hearne on the August 23, 2025 at 10:30 am.
