Otis William Lane

Otis Lane, 63, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Bryan. A memorial service celebrating his life will be at 1:30 pm, Sunday, September 15, 2019, followed by visitation at the funeral centers. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, Bryan-College Station.

On March 11, 1956, Otis was born to Louis and Geneva Lane, in Bryan. Otis was a Class of 1974 Graduate of Bryan High School. He was a self-starter for many projects and loved being with his family and friends. The greatest joys in his life were his children Elizabeth Lane, Lee Norris, and his later in life girlfriend, Nancy Pippin. He adored his grandson Cooper. Otis could be found entertaining many audiences at various Karaoke gigs.

His wife Wanda; his parents; his siblings, Carol Hyvl, Louis Jr., Wilford Lee; all precede him in death.

His daughter Elizabeth Lane and fiancé Blake Carlton; his son, Lee and wife Sarah Norris; his long time girlfriend, Nancy Pippin; his sisters Iona (Nonie) and husband Alton Hyvl, Linda and husband Rudy Schultz, his grandson Cooper; his favorite, aunt Ruth and husband Bill Pruiett, and his favorite, uncle Jake and wife Yvonne McGough; his brother-in-law James Hyvl; his numerous nephews and nieces, close friends all survive Otis.
