Pamela Jo Broadway

Pamela Jo Broadway
December 25, 1952 – July 16, 2018

Pamela “Pam” Broadway, 65, of Bryan, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, in Bryan. Her Life Tribute Celebration will begin with visitation at 9, until service time at 10am, at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Centers on Friday, July 20, 2018. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Officiating services will be Nate Lawrence, Chaplain Compassionate Hospice. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station. Pallbearers include Tristin Everett, Hayden Becka, Kelly Bradford, Trey Cherry, Cameron Conrad, and Hayden Baron.

Pam was born to Ernest and Mona (Stubbs) Bradford in Odessa, Texas. She was one of six children in her family. Pam was a quick thinker and loved the challenges of life. She raised three daughters, Heather, Lesley, and Amber, who were the love of her life. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren. Pam was well known for her strength and integrity, and always being a straight-shooter; she was all about honesty and told you how it was even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She never judged, and always made a point to say that was left up to the good Lord. She was a private person, but always enjoyed a little social time at the casino or on the lake fishing. You could never find Pam without her cigarettes, a cup of coffee, and enough Pepsi to last her a good while. Pam’s life had its share of challenges but she faced each challenge with strength, class, and her devout faith in the Lord.

Pam is survived by her children Heather Becka and husband Ryan, Lesley Karonka and husband Steven, and Amber Broadway; her sisters, Peggy Houtchens and husband Bob, Melba Turner and husband Charles, Remona Cherry and husband Preston; her sisters-in-laws Sue Bradford and Billie Jack Bradford; her beloved and adored grandchildren Tristin, Hayden, Hannah, Hallie, Ryder, and Gabriel; and many other relatives and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Mona (Stubbs) Bradford, husband Tim Broadway, her brothers Larry and Ernest Bradford, and grandson Axl.

In lieu of flowers, Pamela’s family asks that donations be made to www.trinityoaks.org or mailed to Trinity Oaks, 9385 Miller Lane, San Antonio, Texas 78266, all in Memory of Pamela Broadway.
