July 12, 1958 – September 16, 2018

Pedro Guajardo, 60, of Bryan, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Bryan.  A visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with a service at 11:30 am, Saturday September 22, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Pete was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Pedro and Adela Rangel Guajardo.    He was one of four children.  Pete was always a hard working guy since he left high school.  He has been a mechanic his entire adulthood.  A favorite pass time for him was fishing at Lake Somerville or Rock Port, Texas.

Preceeding him in death are his parents.

Pete is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diane Guajardo, his daughter Amanda, brothers Martin Guajardo and Robert Guajardo, his sister Terri Guajardo and other relatives and close friends.

Pete nacio en San Antonio, Tejas hijo de Pedro y Adela Rangel Guajardo.  El era uno de cuatro hijos de este matrimonio.  Pete siempre fue un hombre trabajador desde que salio de la escuela secundaria.  Fue mecanico toda su vida adulta.  Su pasa tiempo favorito fue ir a pescar a Lake Somerville o a Rock Port, Tejas.

Precediéndolo en la muerte, son sus padres, Pedro Guajardo, Sr. y Adela Rangel Guajardo.

Sobrevive su esposa de 29 años, Diane Guajardo, su hija Amanda, sus hermanos Martin Guajardo y Robert Guajardo. Tambien su hermana Terri Guajardo y otros familiares y amigos.

  1. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Pete. We where mechanics together at Sanderson Farms. His smile and jokes will be missed.

  3. There is just not enough that I can say about Pete. His work ethic, his scene of humor, his jokes, his big smile but most of all you could tell he really love and cherished his wife and daughter. The only time I ever saw him cry was when he was telling me a story about the love they had for him and how they had always been their for him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. I myself am glad to have been able to call you my friend. You will be missed but your legacy will continue on through your wife, daughter and everyone else’s life you have touched.

  4. I am terribly sorry for your loss. He was always laughing about something. He was a good husband and father. I knew him through Amanda, his daughter, who I went to school with, and who is one of my closest friends. I will be praying for your family.

  5. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Dianne, Amanda, and Pete’s immediate family and friends. I have known Pete since Elementary School and he has always been a dear and close friend. In addition to being honest, sincere, and down-to-earth, Pete has always been a hard worker, loving family man, and a very special person. Pete was a warm and wonderful person who brought joy into the lives he touched. He will be missed.

  6. I had the pleasure of working with Pete for many years at Pepsi. He was a hard worker and a good friend. I will miss his fishing stories and his great since of humor. He loved to tell jokes, but he really loved to talk about family. You could see the look of happiness on his face when he talked about them. I send prayers and condolences to his family and friends. His legacy is his family and friends. He will live in our thoughts forever.

  7. Very sad to hear about Pete. I have not seen him since I moved away from Bryan 11 years ago, but I still considered him a friend. He was always good to me and everyone else I seen him come in contact with. God Bless Him.

  8. My condolences to the entire Guajardo family. Pete was a loving, honest and generous individual. My memories of him and his family will last with me and my family forever. Wish we could have gone on the fishing trip we were planning! RIP my dear friend. Our prayers are with Dianne, Amanda and the entire Guajardo family.   9. Thanks brother-in -law for all of the wonderful memories we shared together. There is no one like you were one of a kind.l will never forget you I enjoy fishing & shooting with you most of all the times we snuck away to go get a scohlotzsky sandwich,ice cream and other places, but most of all I’m going to miss you saying Bock8 .
