Polina V. Astapova Rouland

August 5, 1986 – November 19, 2019

Polina Astapova Rouland, 33, of College Station, Texas has passed away Tuesday, November 19th after a hell of a fight with cancer. For those who didn’t know her, she was a beacon of light. She overcame the odds with cancer her first time around, even when people told her she might not. The girl had a tenacity that many marveled over and were driven by. She was inspired by those around her to continue being determined and always said we had to keep fighting. She was always smiling, laughing and pushing forward despite any setbacks. She hated to be held back and was extremely determined to give her all in everything she could. She loved hard and helped everyone around her all of the time and always did it with a positive attitude.
A graveside service will be held for her on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00pm at Bryan City Cemetery, 1111 N Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77803.
She leaves behind a loving family consisting of her husband, David Rouland; her seven year old daughter, Zoey; and a host of supportive family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Polina may be mailed to Here for the Girls (Texas Chapter) at 1309 Jamestown Road, Unit 204, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

Condolences

  1. I had the pleasure of working with Polina during my time at TMPA. She was always happy and smiling. I want to express my deepest condolences to her family at this difficult time.

  2. David and Zoey…Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this heartbreaking loss. Prayers for strength and hope in Christ. He heals the brokenhearted. When we don’t understand; is when we trust in His plan. He has a hope and a future for you and Zoey. We love you

  3. We knew Polina through our son and only met her once but knew instantly the kind of person she was; genuine, kind, thoughtful and truly exceptional. Our thoughts and prayers are with David and Zoey and the whole family.
