Richard Garcia, 62, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Bryan. Life Tribute Celebration will be Tuesday May 8, 2018, from 5-7, with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm at Callaway Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Richard enjoyed camping, fishing and most of all he enjoyed umpiring girls fast pitch softball. During football season he enjoyed watching his Aggies and Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding him in death are his parents Pete M. and Beatrice Garcia; brother Willie Garcia; nephews Mark Anthony Garcia and Kale Williams.

He leaves behind his brothers, Peter (Rosa), Michael (Cheryl); two sisters Linda Breeding, and Maria Garcia; his nieces, Tiffany, Jennifer, Brandi (Harrison), Anjulie, Laurie, Amber, Miranda, Mariah, Madison, Ava, Paisley, Makaila; his nephews Cameron, Jae Anthony, Michael B., Joey (Laura) Scott, Caleb, Isaih (Ashlyn), Christopher (Crystal), Trey, Drew, Gage, Aaron, Jaxson, and his beloved big baby Bella, several aunts and uncles and last but not least his umpire family.

  8. I only knew Richard from the times he spend on Saturdays at the dog park with Bella. He was always a pleasure to talk to, a genuinely kind and bright person. I’ll miss our conversations greatly. I was blessed to have known his acquaintance
