Rosie Vazquez

Rosie Vazquez, 59, of Waco and formerly of Bryan, passed away Friday evening February 21, 2014. The family will receive friends during visitation from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home, 3001 S. College Ave. in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, at Callaway-Jones with interment following at the Memorial Cemetery of College Station.

Rosie was born September 30, 1954, in Bryan, to Guadalupe and Marcelena Garcia. She graduated from Bryan High School in the Class of 1973. She was a loving and caring mother who would go above and beyond for her children and grandchildren. Her siblings will serve as Pallbearers and will wear blue ties honoring her favorite color.

Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Florentino Vazquez; sons, Leonardo and Ricky Vazquez; daughters and son-in-law, Victoria and Zach Hester, Vanessa Vazquez, Virginia Vazquez; parents, Guadalupe and Marcelena Garcia; brothers, Guadalupe Jr., Manuel, Ricky, Roy, David, Ernest, Randy, Larry, and Donny Garcia; sister, Silvia Garcia; and grandchildren Emilina Vazquez, and Hudson Hester who meant the world to her.
