Ruby Norris

September 29, 1926 – November 3, 2019

Ruby Lawson Norris, 93, of Waller, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2019. She was born on September 29, 1926 in Gloster, Mississippi to Ernest and Mada Lawson. Ruby retired from Cy-Fair School District in Houston after 10 years of service. She was a loving mother and Memaw and will be dearly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Norris, her parents, and 10 siblings.

Ruby is survived by her son, Larry Norris of Waller, Texas; her daughters, Linda Brady-Salik of Waller, Texas, and Brenda Brady of College Station, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita DeBessonet of Walker, Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in College Station, Texas.

I loved Mrs. Norris. I know she is in heaven now, young and joyful and probably dancing. I can’t wait to see her again. My love and condolences to Brenda, Linda, Larry, and all her beautiful grandchildren.
