Sandra Grady Oliver
October 23, 1941 – June 9, 2017

Sandra Oliver, 75, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, in her home as she requested. A visitation is scheduled for 5 pm Saturday, June 17, 2017, until the time of her Life Tribute Service at 6 pm in the Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.

Sandra Oliver was born to Pete and Zelma Pearson Grady in Batesville, Arkansas. She loved life to the fullest and was treasured by her family as their source of faith. She always enjoyed her family and cooking was her best gift to them. Sandra’s passion for her family was noted at all family events especially during the holidays. She married Roy Oliver and together they shared thirty-three years of marriage. Her family will miss her Facebook Posts and comments; her many hours of Cross-stitching Master Pieces she gave as gifts. And if any one is known as the BEST fan of Ranger Baseball it’s Sandra. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Jimmy Driggers, Lewis Dean Driggers, Carol Fontenot, and Glenda Childress, are her children who precede her in death; as well as her parents.

She is survived by her husband Roy Oliver; her daughter Lisa Dowdall; her brother Tom and sister-in-law Sandra; her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I’m sorry our family couldn’t make it to be with everyone. Meme was the only grandmother I ever knew. I really really miss her and I regret not seeing her the last time I was in Texas. I regret not bringing McKenzie to see her either. I’m so sorry for her passing, my condolences to everyone.

    We love ya’ll,
