Shaune David Glass, 37, of Iola, Texas passed away on April 26, 2016 at his home. The first Memorial Service is set for 2:30 pm May 1, at LifeLine Sanctuary, 17722 TX 6 Frontage Rd., College Station, Tx.77845 with Pastor Nate Lawrence officiating. The second service will be 2 p.m. May 7, at Savoy United Pentecostal Church, 519 E. Hayes St. (Old Hwy 56), Savoy, TX 75479 with Pastor Virgil Cornwell officiating.

Shaune was born in Denison, Texas July 8, 1978 and graduated from Savoy High School in 1996. Shaune had been bedridden since the age of 21. Before becoming ill he enjoyed fishing, raising his Great Danes and working with his Pawpaw Glass building houses. He also enjoyed watching comedy shows and movies on TV as well as hanging out with family and friends.
Shaune is preceded in death by his sister, Misty Shields; and brother Robert Shields, Jr.; grandmother, Doyle Shields; great-grandparents; JB and Gwen Thomas, Woodrow and Louise Glass, James and Nora Auldridge; aunt Milissa Glass; and two uncles, Donnie and Carl Auldridge.

Shaune is survived by his parents, Robert and Shelley Shields; brother, Zachariah Shields and his wife Georgeanne Shields; two nephews, Chaz and Axel; adopted sister, Kristina Rice-Shields; grandparents, Charles and Barbara Glass; grandfather, Bobby Shields; aunts and uncles, Shannon and Ronnie Powell, Sherrie and James Thompson, Michael Glass, Sandra and Danny Melton, Annette and John Higgins, Charlotte and Marty Charles, Greg and Barrie Shields and Tracy Miller and other relatives from the Glass, Thomas, Shields, and Auldridge families, and many friends.

The family of Shaune Glass wishes to thank the Scott & White ICU Staff and Compassionate Care Hospice for all their care and efforts to keep Shaune comfortable.
