Tyvonna was born on August 12, 1976 to the late Franklin Brown Jr. and Theresa Baylock. She was the very first grandchild to the late Clara and Amos Baylock. She attended Wyandanch Memorial High School in Wyandanch, New York in 1994 and graduated with honors. She later furthered her education by attending Stony Brook College “Gifted”program for two years. Tyvonna would soon relocate to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1997 after her family moved in 1996. She found employment at Toys R Us and Regis Company which she met Paul Rayford. They committed in marriage and from their union they welcomed their daughter, Jy’Maya Renée Rayford, now 13. They relocated to College Station in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. She became employed at The University Title Company, where she was employed for 14 years. She was a bright life in everyone’s life. She was always helping and putting others before herself. She will be missed by many.

Tyvonna leaves behind her beloved daughter, Jy’Maya Rayford; mother Theresa Dukes; stepson Paul Mark; three siblings sister Chantà Dukes of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and two brothers Raymond Dukes of Marietta, Georgia and Jesse Dukes of Houston; ex-husband Paul Rayford; sister-in-law Lisa Rayford Payton; four aunts Belinda Jones of Wilmington,NC, Rose Nowell of Wilmington, NC, Anna Baylock of Raleigh, NC, and Della Baylock of Port Orange, FL; one uncle Amos Baylock Jr. of Reading, PA; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Speak of me as you have always done.
Remember the good times, laughter, and fun.

Share the happy memories we’ve made.
Do not let them wither or fade.

I’ll be with you in the summer’s sun
And when the winter’s chill has come.

I’ll be the voice that whispers in the breeze.
I’m peaceful now, put your mind at ease.

I’ve rested my eyes and gone to sleep,
But memories we’ve shared are yours to keep.

Sometimes our final days may be a test,
But remember me when I was at my best.

Although things may not be the same,
Don’t be afraid to use my name.

Let your sorrow last for just a while.
Comfort each other and try to smile.

I’ve lived a life filled with joy and fun.
Live on now, make me proud of what you’ll become
