Condolences

  1. Susan and Family: I’m very sorry for your loss of Velsie. She was the first person I met and made friends with at Magnified when I visited my sister Pat. Velsie was always so much fun to be with. Pat passed two days before Velsie. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Peggy Cothrum

    • Peggy,

Thank you for your note of condolence. I’m sorry to hear that Pat also passed away last week. Velsie and Pat both had a difficult time lately. I know they will both be missed by love ones. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and Pat as well.

      Susan

  2. My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Ms. Velsie was loved and she will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you’re feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress.” Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, “You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle.” You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).

  3. My sincere condolences to the family of Velsie Laine. She was a sweet and kind person I am glad I got to know her.I met her when we worked at Engineering and Office Supply, Inc.I had fun working with her.Gone but never forgotten. RIP Velsie.
