Vicki Jean Bryan, 66, of College Station, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2017 in Bryan, TX. No services are scheduled at this time.
She was born February 14, 1951 in Myrtle Point, OR in Coos County. She attended Zephyr High School in Zephyr, TX graduating class of 1969. Vicki also attended some college at Tarleton State University, in Stephenville, TX, later studying Radiology in Wichita Falls, TX. She became an X-Ray Technician and worked in healthcare for many years. Vicki was working at Northeast Community Hospital in Bedford, TX and helped with survivors on the historical day of tragedy at DFW airport, when Delta flight 191 crashed in 1985. She loved horses! Vicki enjoyed some barrel racing in her younger days, and maintained a long love of caring for horses and horseback riding.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Reasoner Gibbs, and her father, Richard Henry Gibbs, aunt ,Jessie Reasoner Spears, uncle Thomas Henry Spears, aunt Dorothy Reasoner, cousin Carl Donald Spears. She is survived her son, Mike Bryan, brother, Wes Gibbs, sister Jennetta Toeppich, cousin, Tommy Spears, Jr., nephews, James Pais and Charlie Smith.
Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.
Vicky Jean you will be missed…we had a lot of good times growing up…cousin…Sorry we lost touch over the years…remember when you and Mike lived in Mullin….sorry Mike for your loss…Becky Ray McBride
