Virginia Koch Brisbin, age 80, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Brenham, Texas.
Born on May 11, 1938 in Gatesville to Bernhard and Grace Koch, Virginia graduated from R.L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth. Virginia married Dan Brisbin and lived in several states courtesy of the Dan’s career in the U.S. Air Force before settling in Wichita Falls.
Virginia enjoyed a long career as a bookkeeper before retiring to care for her parents in Fort Worth.
An avid reader and movie buff, Virginia’s true calling was to be the world’s best grandmother. “Nana” to her three grandchildren, Virginia was a constant presence in their lives and will be profoundly missed.
Preceded in death by her son Danny Brisbin, husband and parents, Virginia is survived by her daughter Tammy Orr and husband Gary, grandchildren Elizabeth Orr, Elliot Orr and Dylan Orr and sister Agnes Forester and husband Harry as well as many dear cousins.
Virginia’s final wish was to have her ashes scattered at her adopted home, Orr Hollow in Burton, Texas.
