Vivian Ann Stroud, 85, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at the Burleson St. Joseph Manor in Caldwell. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, with the Rev. Bob Waters officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery.

Vivian was born January 6, 1924, to Earl and Alverta Cheek. She worked for years as a ceramicist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Stroud.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl Lewis, of College Station, Texas, Ann and Sam Shrop, of Richland, Utah; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cruz Lewis, of Conroe, Texas; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations to be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
