Wanda Charleen Denman

Wanda Charleen Denman, 65, of Bryan, passed away Thursday morning March 8, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services celebrating her life will begin at 2 p.m., Monday, March 12, at the Brazos Valley Cowboy Church with Pastor Will Fountain officiating. Interment will follow at the Bryan City Cemetery.

Charleen was born September 19, 1946, in Bryan to Charlie and Leatha Liner. She is a lifetime resident of this area and worked as a private nurse. She will be remembered for the love and care she showed for her family and for all of her patients. Her passion truly was caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Denman, her son Bubba Denman, and her parents.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Denman and wife Jodi, Jason Denman; daughter, Carla Harris and husband Steve; brother, Bobby Liner and wife Janet; sister, Melva Ball; grandchildren, Amber Denman, Danny Denman, Marshall Denman, Cade Denman, Ty Harris, Hunter Harris, Shon Denman; great grandson, Logan Cockroft; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Charlene seen me through some rough and happy times. you are and will always be a part of your family, i love each of you more than you know. even though im not here any more im just a phone call away. i loved your mom like she was my own and i will carry her with me always. to Cade Amber Danny and Shon, i m so proud or each of you and watched you all grow from babies. i know each of you were the reason your grandma was so happy and y’all gave her life a purpose. to all of you i will always love of you in such a special way. your mom was the pillar of your family and i know her wish for you all to not to let your family unity fall to the wayside. stick together and stay close to each other. you are all on your own now so make your mother proud. always Stacy 859-362-8381
