Condolence from Wade Stallings on October 29th, 2015 9:50 pm

I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I feel your pain. Life after losing your life partner is rough as I well know. I will be praying for you and your son.

Life after Delores has been rough, but I have learned that life moves on although slowly. If it hadn’t been for you and Bill, I would have never met the love of my life. Thanks to you two, I enjoyed 33+ years of wonderful love and had three great kids. Just think, my life was shaped and changed by you and Bill.

I never forgot how Bill use to call me on 2-meters. My call sign is WB4LRO. Bill would always say “WB4 Little Round Orange”. It has stuck in my head always. It is a great memory.

My best wishes to you during this time.

Wade Stallings, WB4LRO

Condolence from Derrick Felts on November 6th, 2015 2:25 pm

Joyce and Michael,
So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I still fondly remember the years that Edgemont had a bowling team. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend one night a week with Bill, along with Bobby Hall (who also passed away this year), Lynn Hale and Jim Hale. Good times and great memories! I’m sure Bill was greeted by Bobby, and many others, in the “Land of Pure Delight”. God bless…miss you.

I’m sure you don’t remember me but I delivered UPS to you guys in Bluefield. I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr. Fisher was always such a nice and interesting person to deliver to and talk with about his projects. God bless you during these difficult times.
