William Lee Fonville, Sr.

August 22, 1941 – May 11, 2018

William Lee Fonville, Sr., 76, of Bryan passed away peacefully on Friday, May 11, 2018 surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00am, with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating.

William was born on August 22, 1941 to Chester and Pauline (Baker) Fonville in Ranger, TX. He graduated from Ranger High School. William was married to Virginia Brown in 2013. He was blessed in his life to have six children, whom he loved dearly. William loved the outdoors, and especially fishing, but most of all he loved his family. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Pauline.

William is survived by his wife Virginia; sons Lee Fonville & wife Carol, Scooter Fonville & wife Linda, Jason Fonville & wife Michelle, and Will Fonville & wife Lisa; daughters Cindy Fonville, Nikki Gallardo & husband Mike, Shelley Denise Elliott & husband Lee, and Rebecca Kay Harrell & husband Josh; brother Steve Fonville; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
