My condolences to the family. To lose a loved one in death is most distressing. Our loving heavenly father provides comfort in his word the Bible to help soothe the pain of grief and sadness. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Also the promise at Revelation 21:4 is very comforting. It states; And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. My condolences to the family on the loss of Reggie. I knew and competed with Reggie in college and thought a lot of him. I understand he was a good Christian man and I am sure that He is welcoming Reggie now. My thoughts and prayers remain with the family and friends during this time.
